Meet the Doctor

About Us

Dr. Borer has been blessed with the opportunity to practice dentistry for 30 years. His experiences across various regions has equipped him with a deep understanding of patient needs, rendering him an invaluable asset to the dental community.

Dr. Borer grew up in Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center - College of Dentistry and graduated in 1996. Following dental school, Dr. Borer completed a residency in The United States Air Force. During this time, he met and married Josephine (Dunn) Borer from Wetumpka. Following three years of dedicated service to our country, they relocated to Sheldon, Iowa, where Dr. Borer established and managed his own private practice for 23 years, welcoming four children into their family during that time.

In 2022, they relocated to Alabama to be nearer to Jo’s family, and Dr. Borer spent three years working in Montgomery.  Surprisingly, God revealed an opportunity to own his own practice again, and Borer Family Dentistry was established. The goal for the future is to collaborate with his eldest daughter, Mary Margaret Borer Kent, who is presently pursuing her dental studies at The University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Borer and his family  are thrilled to be able to serve Prattville and the surrounding communities.
